    Benefits Administrator

    Key Information:

    • Teaching new employees how to access employee benefits.
    • Work with employees to resolve issues related to their benefits, including answering questions, investigating concerns, and escalating issues as required.
    • Hours: Based on a 40-hour work week (8 hours a day, Monday - Friday)
    • Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
    • Health benefits and vacation pay offered.

    Job Description:

    • Teaching new employees how to access employee benefits.
    • Work with employees to resolve issues related to their benefits, including answering questions, investigating concerns, and escalating issues as required.
    • Assess and coordinate client benefits programs, including health claims, disability claims, and other health related benefits.
    • Maintain accurate employee records, benefits coverage, and other relevant information.
    • Process benefit claims and work with insurance providers and other service providers to ensure the efficient and accurate handling of claims.
    • Identify and resolve issues related to employee benefits program.
    • Build strong working relationships with colleagues and vendors through excellent interpersonal skills.

    Experience and Certification Requirements:

    • One to three years of human resources experience or experience working in similar positions is required.
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
    • Organization and time management skills
    • Understanding of the products or services the business provides, the industry that the company works in, and the benefits that employees at similar businesses usually expect.
    • Understanding of the interest rates and retirement accounts and any fees associated with them.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret employee surveys and other data.
    • Proficient English language skills required.
    • A reliable means of transportation is required.

    Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
