this position can be located remotely, anywhere in the province of Quebec.Design and build advanced applications for the iOS and Android platforms
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and established coding standards
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and propose effective technical solutions
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks
Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase
Refactor legacy code and improve it with modern development standards
Participate in project planning and contribute to team stand-ups and meetings
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
~3+ years of experience as a Frontend / Mobile Software Engineer
~ Experience and comfort with React, React Native, React-Query, styled-components, Apollo Client, Typescript, GraphQL
~ Comfortable with iOS and Android SDKs
~ Experience working with Bitrise or equivalent mobile DevOps platforms
~ Proficient with Git version control and branching strategies
~ Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
~ Strong knowledge of UI/UX standards and a portfolio showcasing your work
