Join our team and help us keep communities connected.We are seeking an Administrative Assistant (Co-op Student) to join our Waterloo Infrastructure Management & Pavement Engineering (IMPE) team supporting Roadway project managers, technicians and engineers.
This is a full-time, 4-month contract position concluding in August 2024. This individual will bring their interpersonal, practical and technical experience, word processing proficiency and attention to quality.Our team is highly collaborative, fast paced, deadline driven, quality centered and geographically diverse. Document management / control services for our projects (document reviews, prepare and issue proposals and bids).
Perform project and operational administrative duties, such as:
Formatting and proofreading documents.
Updating business development opportunities in the corporate CRM.
Ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to Stantec and client standards which govern things like workflows, metadata, formatting, document and revision numbering, and approvals.
Experience with document control systems, processes, and standards, particularly with engineering projects.Proficiency at an intermediate level with the following software:
Microsoft (MS) Office 2019, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
File-sharing and electronic document management systems (EDMS) platforms, such as SharePoint
Post-secondary diploma or degree in related field.
