    Description

    Are you ready for the next step in your Construction career? Do you have proven commercial Site Supervisory skills in the Calgary region? An exciting position has become available to join a dynamic and young commercial construction company as a Project Coordinator in our Calgary division.

    Rayner Construction Services (RCS) has a wide variety of ongoing and upcoming projects, including Government facility renovations, office interior fit ups, tenant improvements, restaurant ground-up/fit outs & school board projects.

    RCS is a commercial Construction Management company who recently became a Finalist in the Alberta Business Awards of Distinction 2020 and was named one of Canada's Top Growing Companies in 2021 by Globe & Mail.

    RCS is a Prairie based, home grown company, that currently has 3 offices located in Calgary (Head Office), Vancouver & Winnipeg (Branch Offices).

    This provides RCS with the unique opportunity to service their clients effectively across Western Canada with future ambitions to expand east

    Assist the project team with coordination and overall project support
    Manage and assist with construction coordination and project administration, safety paperwork, shop drawings, RFI's, purchase orders, change notices and project completion documents
    Assemble, attend, document and minute all project meetings, in conjunction with Project Manager
    Problem solve and troubleshoot project demands and requirements
    Minimum of 2 years experience in a Project Administrator or Coordinator position within the commercial construction industry
    Experience with Procore software would be an enormous asset
    Intermediate to advanced level skills with Microsoft Office
    Excellent typing, verbal, and written communication skills
    A proven track record of project coordination and team collaboration
    Ability to work closely with Superintendents, Office & Field Staff
    Requires valid driver's license
    Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, Outlook and MS Project
    Effective typing, verbal, and written communication skills
    Proficiency in reading and interpreting contract requirements, specifications, RFI's, CO's etc.
    Strong planning, organization and time management skills
