Summary

As a Guest Service Agent in the Alpine and Recreation Department, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will involve managing guest inquiries and reservations for our renowned ski area. With your in-depth knowledge of our diverse offerings, you will be dedicated to understanding and fulfilling our guests' needs, ensuring they have a truly exceptional time during their stay.

Responsibilities

  • Complete the opening and closing reservations procedures.
  • Be knowledgeable of all products and services offered by the ski department and other areas of the resort, including; resort specials, promotions, advertisements and coupons.
  • Relay customer complaints or requests to ski department management.
  • Accurately and efficiently operate a pointofsale system, including daily cash out reports.
  • Professionally handle guest inquiries, providing prompt and accurate information about our ski area's facilities, services, and activities.
  • Assist guests in making reservations, ensuring all details are accurately recorded and communicated.
  • Exhibit a warm, outgoing, and friendly demeanor, making guests feel welcome and valued throughout their interactions with the resort.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any issues that may arise promptly and professionally.
  • Stay updated on resort offerings, promotions, and events to provide guests with the most current and relevant information.
  • Utilize various software packages and databases efficiently to manage reservations and guest information.
  • Proactively address guest feedback and concerns, striving to exceed expectations and turn every experience into a positive one.

Requirements:


- Basic computer skills including the use of databases, MS Excel, MS Word.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and can communicate well with a diverse group of customers, including children and international guests.
  • Able to multitask and respond to inquiries effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Experience with POS and Debit/Credit payment devices preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Quick thinking and ability to adapt to changing situations while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service, going above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in using various software packages and databases for reservations and guest management.
  • Ability to work in a teamoriented environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge and enthusiasm for skiing and snowrelated activities are advantageous.

  • Will be required to stand for long periods of time
