    Job Summary

    We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our GROWING Copper & Brass Sales Division - Covering our British Columbia Territory Increase profitable sales in a defined geographical area by servicing/developing customers
    with emphasis on major and target accounts. Research and provide disposition to customer
    problems and complaints. Define and educate potential customers on company functions
    and capabilities. Monitor and report industry trends to company management. Résumé du poste :

    Job Description

    • Determine key buying influences at existing and potential customers and establish a working relationship.
    • Develop a market plan for territory with quantifiable goals and objectives supported by action plans and bench marks for measuring progress.
    • Assist inside sales on special accounts and/or projects.
    • Provide assistance to credit managers as required.
    • Schedule and perform sales calls and/or visits.
    • Estimate customer's usage of products and estimates of business units participation.
    • Conduct training sessions on product and services with both customers and business unit employees.
    • Follow the transaction pricing that deviates from the business units pricing and report significant occurrences and trends to management.
    • Communicate customer product and quality requirements to inside sales and operations.
    • Recommend additions/deletions to product catalogue and company services.
    • Initiate and monitor E-item inventory requirements.
    • Provide recommendations regarding current/potential advertising.
    • Continually increase knowledge of company products, services and procedures.
    • Continual maintenance and updating of customer database.
    • Daily downloading, review and follow up of quotes
    • Daily review of daily sales for customer thank you and order review.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 2 year college degree or equivalent experience
    • 1 year public/customer interaction
    • 1-year sales experience.

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Completion/working towards 4 year degree (sales, business, marketing)
    • 3-5 years sales experience
    • Metallurgy training and/or experience
    • Public speaking experience
    • Computer literate.

    Responsabilités clés:

    • Collaborer avec le service des ventes internes dans le cadre de dossiers ou de projets spéciaux.
    • Aider les gestionnaires du crédit, au besoin.
    • Planifier et exécuter des visites de vente.
    • Estimer l'utilisation que les clients font des produits ainsi que la participation des unités d'affaires.
    • Animer des séances d'information sur les produits et services auprès des clients et des employés de l'unité d'affaires.
    • Porter attention aux transactions qui s'écartent des barèmes de tarification des unités d'affaires et déclarer à la direction les tendances ou les cas importants.
    • Transmettre aux services des ventes internes et de l'exploitation les exigences des clients quant aux produits et à la qualité.
    • Recommander des ajouts ou suppressions dans le catalogue des produits et services de l'entreprise.
    • Formuler des recommandations sur la publicité actuelle ou potentielle de l'entreprise.
    • Promouvoir continuellement la connaissance des produits, des services et des procédures de l'entreprise.
    • Garder à jour la base de données sur les clients.
    • Télécharger quotidiennement les soumissions, les examiner et en faire le suivi.
    • Prendre connaissance quotidiennement des ventes conclues afin de remercier le client et de passer sa commande en revue.
    • Posséder les qualités et compétences exigées des employés de TKMNA.

    Qualifications:

    Exigences minimales :

    • Diplôme obtenu au terme d'un programme collégial de deux ans (ou expérience équivalente)
    • Un an d'expérience auprès du public ou de la clientèle
    • Deux ans d'expérience en vente

    Atouts :

    • Formation de quatre ans (en cours ou terminée) menant à un diplôme dans le domaine de la vente, des affaires ou du marketing
    • Trois à cinq ans d'expérience dans le domaine des ventes
    • Expérience directe dans le domaine des métaux
    • Aptitude pour parler en public
    • Solides connaissances en informatique.

    Job Compensation

    $65,000 - $70,000 and will participate in the Outside Sales commission program.
