    Description

    Our client, a financial institution, is looking to hire a Content Editor Specialist on a 6-month contract. This position is hybrid in Toronto.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Aid projects in their early stages by conducting content strategy tasks and UX research, including competitive analysis, content inventories, usability queries, and wireframe drafting.
    • Write, edit, and review content to ensure accuracy, brand alignment, and achievement of business goals.
    • Create pages within the CMS with precision and independence.
    • Address defects promptly during content creation.
    • Provide support during project implementations or launches.
    • Assist in training on editorial workflow and content creation.
    • Ensure content reflects business strategies and resonates with target audiences.
    To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;
    • 5+ years' experience as content editor/designer/UX writing, digital marketing, editorial environment
    • Working knowledge of CP Style
    • Jira/Confluence experience is a nice to have
    • Knowledge of content strategy principles and inclusive writing practices
    • Familiarity with WCAG 2.0 Accessibility Standards and plain language guideline
    • Working knowledge of SEO, AEM is considered an asset
