    SJR Account Manager Job Description

    SJR is looking for an Account Manager to join their Client Services team, focused on delivering top-notch client experiences. The ideal candidate has a track record of executing content programs that tackle clients' business challenges through innovative thinking and creative excellence. They act as strategic thinkers, client advisors, content managers, problem-solvers, and operations managers all in one.     • Content Marketer: Bringing fresh and captivating stories to engage key audiences.
    • Executional Strategist: Developing and implementing forward-looking strategic plans for impactful work.
    • Client Counselor: Being a attentive listener and trusted advisor who gives valuable recommendations.
    • Growth Driver: Proactively seeking and creating new opportunities for clients and the business.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage client communication from briefing to final approval.
    • Handle account administration, including budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Develop deep knowledge of client sectors, voice, and stay updated on industry trends.
    • Collaborate with colleagues in editorial, design, and technology for content creation.
    • Set clear objectives, goals, and measurement plans for account success.
    • Participate in identifying growth opportunities within existing clients.

    Requirements

    • 3-5 years of account management experience, preferably in an agency setting.
    • Strong understanding of public relations and content marketing strategy across different platforms.
    • Attention to detail, excellent time management, and project coordination skills.
    • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation abilities.
    • Proven track record in building strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
    • Adaptability and proactive mindset to meet various needs promptly.
    • Curiosity, initiative, and a positive attitude with a knack for collaboration.
