    Description

    Business Analyst

    On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Business Analyst.

    Business Analyst – Job Description

    • Evaluate, analyze, streamline requirements for complex initiatives with an understanding of business needs
    • Working closely with Product Owner / Stakeholders / Project team to shape and craft business solutions to meet project goals
    • Monitor business as usual activity to take real-world pulse of what could impact the business and the project/initiatives on hand
    • Connecting with Stakeholders, product & process managers during standups
    • Analyzing processes and procedures, documenting gaps, identifying opportunities
    • Creating and developing process maps and user-guides
    • Connecting with core team to share requirements / discuss ideas
    • Test Case Development and UAT performance (where needed)
    • Working closely with testing and client experience teams to develop test cases to validate requirements

    Business Analyst – Mandatory Skills

    • Maturity in Business Analysis skills and experience in complex projects
    • Experience in data type projects
    • Microsoft Office/Excel (pivot tables)
    • Business analysis/complex process-related problem-solving experience
    • Some data science experience (collection, data organization, manipulation, excel pivot/visual basic a major plus)
    • Research/investigate existing systems/processes
    • Strong writing skills to author end to end Process flows, procedures, policies, user-guides
    • Collecting and leveraging data
    • 5+ years of experience working with IT team and Business
    • Business acumen
    • Able to deal with ambiguity
    • Analytical thinker, detailed oriented with good problem-solving skills
    • Results oriented
    • Strong writing skills
    • Storytelling/Presentation Skills
    • Organized with strong time management skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Team player, cooperative with good interpersonal skills
