    Account Director - Toronto, Canada - TANK Worldwide

    Description

    Can you effectively manage clients and their brands developing and recommending strategies and tactics? Do you challenge the status quo to find new and better ways to work; inspire and generate new ideas with your team?

    We are looking for an Account Director to assume the leadership role, internally and externally, for a group of accounts or a large/complex single account in the Healthcare industry. With a focus on growing the agency's business, you will develop new business opportunities within current client base and potential prospects and lead a team of talented and passionate individuals.

    WHAT YOU WILL DE BOING:

  • Take a leadership role in the development of strategic plans, marketing plans and brand/business reviews, including challenging the client strategically.
  • Serve as the external and internal brand ambassador, earns client trust and confidence.
  • Advise on category and industry trends and the regulatory environment.
  • Direct the execution of account plans and activities, within designated timelines and established budgets.
  • Manage the billing while overseeing the budgeting, planning and tracking of business activities to ensure profitability on clients.
  • Responsible for revenue phasing/forecasting
  • Anticipate issues and implements solutions accordingly for all brands.
  • Provide leadership by being a coach and a mentor for your direct reports and the employees.
  • Provide clear direction, defines priorities and performance objectives.
  • Identify and enable initiatives to expand our value with clients and make us an indispensable partner to their business.
  • Monitor the performance of projects and programs, serving as the ultimate decision-maker across all departments.
  • Manage processes through internal teams, clients and suppliers to ensure that client mandates are successfully carried out.
  • Provide clear and timely information to any internal resources involved in projects.
  • Work in partnership with the creative, production and administrative teams.
  • Seek feedback, listens, and acts on it, work with integrity on all projects
  • Assist in creating and building an agency culture that reinforces high levels of client service, operational excellence, commitment, respect and team spirit.
  • WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline;
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in agency;
  • Must have: strong understanding of PAAB guidelines,
  • Exceptional service orientation;
  • Excellent knowledge of the trends of the communication and marketing industries;
  • Demonstrates strong strategic ability;
  • Shows business savvy and financial acumen;
  • Exhibits strong communication and persuasion skills;
  • Self-starter, ability to work autonomously;
  • Inspirational leader; with ability to propose effective solutions and make decisions
  • Emotional Intelligence;
  • Ability to build trust relationships;
  • Passionate about getting things done within stringent internal/external timelines and deadlines
  • Multitasking ability and able to work under pressure; in fast-paced evolving and growing internal/external environments
  • Desire to be an important member of business growth;
  • Planning and Organizational skills;
