- Installation and service of commercial and residential security systems, access control, video surveillance, telephone entry, Smarthome solutions, cabling and music distribution.
- Programming of systems both remotely and onsite.
- Network configuration and troubleshooting.
- On-call rotation for emergency after-hour care. (Rotation is approximately one week per 6 weeks to have phone on and respond to customer calls) Here's what you will need to be successful:
- At lest 5 years of experience as an Installer or Technician in the security, CCTV, Smarthome or similar capacity.
- Experience with DSC, Kantech, is preferred.
- Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable on ladders (including extension ladders) and scaffolding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven customer service aptitude.
- Valid "G" Ontario driver's license with clean driving record.
- Ability to complete a Criminal Background Check.
- You're an ongoing learner willing to complete training and certifications to maintain your edge in the industry. #MT1
