    Accessibility Lead, Talent Management, People & Culture - Hybrid

    Temporary Long-Term (Fixed Term)

    Reporting to the Director, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) & Engagement+, People & Culture, you are a dedicated, seasoned expert on accessibility and EDI matters, also leading a team.

    You closely collaborate with accessibility colleagues, leading national accessibility efforts notably with CBC and Radio-Canada, partnering with People & Culture teams like Talent Management and HR Business Partners, and internal EDI and accessibility peers.

    Lead and oversee foundational work to ensure full compliance with the Accessible Canada Act legislation and regulations. As CBC/Radio-Canada's national accessibility lead, offer consultative guidance to all organizational levels, inclusive of our Senior Executive Team, on a broad spectrum of topics.

    Lead a team managing the National Accessibility Plan implementation, the Rule on Accommodation, and EDI reporting requirements.

    Contribute to the design and execution of EDI strategies aligning with the goals, philosophy, and approach of the EDI & Engagement+ team and People & Culture.

    All your initiatives support CBC/Radio-Canada's three-year EDI strategy, led by your director's team.

    Identify, build and/or enhance programs, resources, and tools reflecting current research on hiring, retaining, engaging, and developing employees from underrepresented groups, with a key emphasis on individuals with disabilities.


    Bachelor's or equivalent in EDI and/or accessibility required.


    • Master's degree or master's level certificate in EDI or related field considered an asset.


    7 to 10 years of related experience, with a focus on underrepresented groups and particular attention to people with disabilities.

    Experience in the media sector is beneficial.

    Exceptional knowledge of Canadian accessibility laws, outstanding communication skills, and ability to simplify complex information for all organizational levels.

    Proven keen interest in organizational culture, workflow enhancement, and business innovation.


    Bilingualism (English/French) a must.

    Candidates may undergo skills and knowledge assessments.
