Position Information Position Title Employment & Youth Resource Specialist (Dryden) Posting Type Temporary End Date (if applicable) 12/20/2024 Classification Title FT Support Staff E Pay Band E Min Salary $27.81 Max Salary $32.24 Position Summary This position is responsible for customer service, reception, promotion, and registration and pre-assessment of clients, data entry, Youth Job Connect, employment programs and coordinating administrative details for the NEW Community Employment Resource Centre in Dryden. This position is responsible for outreach activities as part of the marketing of the NEW services. In addition, this position has specific program support responsibilities for the Youth Job Connect Programs, including providing program support and mentoring, as well as coordinating job readiness training for youth seeking employment opportunities. Location/Campus Dryden Campus Education Minimum level of formal education required for the position 2 year diploma or equivalent Specific course(s), certification, qualification, formal training or accreditation required for the position No additional requirements Additional Requirements Field(s) of Study English, Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration, Social Services, Communications and/or Service and Hospitality Experience Typical number of years of experience, in addition to the necessary education level, required to perform the responsibilities of the position Minimum of three (3) years Type of Experience

Related experience in Human Resources, English, Hospitality , Social Services or Service Environment.

Experience facilitating workshops.

Experience in employment advisement and referrals.
