    Healthtech, a Nordic Global Company based in Canada, delivers healthcare organizations with strategic advisory, clinical transformation, implementation solutions, and application support services for over 40 years.

    The Senior Director - Epic is responsible for directing, planning, and developing Epic projects at Healthtech. The senior director collaborates with other senior leaders on company strategy and overall business operations.

    Working with the Vice President and Senior Vice President, they support responsibilities for solution development, sales enablement, solution team management, and delivery oversight relating to assigned projects.

    The Senior Director- Epic ensures the success of projects, serving as the key business line liaison to both clients and consultants, monitoring the progress of the project, providing oversight, education and guidance, and performing client-facing work as needed.

    Lead and manage teams of Healthtech colleagues to design and deliver all client services within the service line.

    Client project oversight and overall accountability for the effective performance of the team and the quality, timely, and cost-effective delivery of deliverables to clients based on client assignment requirements and Healthtech quality service standards.

    Proactively manage all client relationships to drive client loyalty and repeat business.
    Partner with the Proposal team to organize resources and ensure that all client contracts are signed and secured.

    Upon client assignment, develop and support the execution of the work plan, workflow, and quality of deliverables with respect to all client assignment requirements, and proactively manage relationships for positive outcomes.

    Co-ordinate the application of effective cost management principles with respect to client assignment requirements.

    Manage the completion of all project close activities: feedback surveys, project qualification write-ups, and the archival of all relevant client deliverables and documents on SharePoint.

    Work with other firm senior management to develop a prospecting and key account management strategy.

    Collaboratively work with business development and marketing support team(s) as well as other colleagues to identify and plan for key initiatives and/or projects required to achieve growth within the portfolio.

    Probability management and reporting prospect opportunities/constraints to the Senior Team and colleagues to ensure an effective and timely closure rate.

    Collaborate in the development of RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, bids, contracts, and proposals for services.

    In collaboration with the VP, negotiate and administer contracts with outside vendors, partners, and associates and oversee their performance and coordinate their services.

    As a member of the Healthtech management team, collaborate with colleagues to build, manage and sustain a high-performance professional services firm.

    Understand market position, actual business results against budget / growth targets, report to colleagues and Senior Team for review and understanding.

    ~Develop, recommend, and manage the collection, analysis and reporting of business information to recognize business line and team performance.
    ~ Assess monthly, quarterly and annually the practice and company results against projected growth targets and report to Vice President with a recommendation for action with expected results.
    ~ Actively participate in business intelligence information gathering, analysis, and reporting and recommend strategies and / or tactics to anticipate or respond to market, economic, or customer trends and issues and project growth opportunities in various geographical / service line areas.
    ~ Adhere to the company's quality control standards and procedures.
    ~ Identify, plan, recommend, and then build the services methodologies / consulting processes / tools and performance standards.
    ~ Lead the deployment and application of policies, practices, models, systems, standards, and methodologies.

    Accountable for the effective and efficient development / management of teams to ensure timely, effective, and profitable management of client assignments.

    Develop the necessary plans and performance requirements of team(s) to deliver results to clients.
    Provide framework to mentor / manage consultants.

    Lead the development of leaders and subject matter experts in the business and own service line / area of business to support the work of the senior management team and individual service line leaders.

    Set and monitor team member / assignment performance expectations.
    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
    ~5+ years' experience as a senior leader of a division or department, including responsibility for financial performance and experience leading service-oriented teams within a healthcare, consulting, or healthcare IT vendor organization.
    ~5+ years' experience in extending healthcare IT systems to independent, merged, or acquired facilities.
    ~ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting customer service commitments and project timelines

    ~ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, computers, email, and spreadsheets
    ~ Work will primarily be performed at client locations, some of which may be in hospitals and medical clinics over which Healthtech no direct control.
    ~ Additional work to be performed in a professional office environment and/or remotely
    ~ work may be needed on weekends or evenings
    ~ Assignment requires on-site attendance all or part of the time they are actively working. Some assignments may allow remote work. This allows the employee to work from home or other locations of their choosing.
    ~ Consultant assignments may necessitate travel outside of scheduled work hours (e.g. flying on weekends or evenings). Must be available for calls, emails, and consults regularly and outside of scheduled work hours to support the client and communicate with home office as necessary. If a go-live occurs while on a project with a client, extensive hours will more than likely be required. While go-live events do not occur on every project or with high frequency, if a consultant accepts a project that requires go-live participation, they will be expected to meet the time requirements of the assignment. Must be able to unequivocally commit to working nights and weekends, be on-call, and immediately responsive to client needs during the event.
