    Instructional Designer (Remote)
    Contract Duration 7 Months

    Summary Of Day To Day Responsibilities:
    Instructional Designer will review existing e-learning courses, apply best learning practices, write assessments for instructional designs
    Examination of 17 modules and identify deficiencies or redundancies. Once identified provide recommendations to make process/e-learning more efficient and start adapting courses up to a storyboard perspective.
    They will need to design and look at existing modules and identify where are opportunities to bring it to today's learning practices, and provide net new design around assessment around learning to test.
    In this role, they are an Instructional Designer and must understand and recommend how to meet goals and then document how to design more efficient modules. Once they bring forward their designs it get passed to the developer team who will test the design (they are not a developer but instead will be the Instructional Designer)
    E-learning must be strong - create storyboards

    Job Description:
    This role is supporting a highly visible, Enterprise-wide project by conducting an in-depth learning needs assessment of existing mandatory eLearning modules and making recommendations to reduce learner seat time and simplify language.
    Based on the approved learning solution, this role will also be responsible for storyboarding redesigned eLearning content, including the creation of assessments to provide test-out options for the learner.
    All designed solutions must be high quality, fully accessible, and in alignment with our client brand and diversity and inclusion standards.

    Accountabilities:
    Ability to conduct complex needs assessment of existing eLearning modules, recommend solutions, and design high-quality eLearning solutions that meet client's goals
    Ability to synthesize, simplify, and communicate complex information and theoretical concepts while applying clear language principles
    Effectively collaborates with multiple stakeholders at all levels
    Works directly with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), as required, to capture content-specific knowledge
    Designs engaging, interactive eLearning solutions ensuring learning and performance objectives are met
    Ensures learning solutions align to the client's brand, learner accessibility, and principles of diversity and inclusion, leveraging established standards and guidelines and achieving success criteria while managing scope, risks stakeholder engagement, and problem resolution
    Provides deep subject matter expertise in learning and performance consulting, including knowledge of external best practices and emerging trends, and maintains best practices in instructional design and development
    The Instructional Designer provides design thought leadership and/or industry knowledge and participates in knowledge transfer within the team
    Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
    Protects the interests of the organization - identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard activities/concerns as necessary
    Maintains a culture of risk management and control

    Must-Have:
    8+ years' experience as an Instructional Designer
    Experience designing and developing mandatory eLearning modules for an Enterprise audience
    Advanced design skills in assessing and creating high-quality, fully accessible eLearning deliverables
    Instructional design experience supporting highly regulated industries on complex, fast-paced projects in the compliance space
    Advanced MS Office (PowerPoint & Word) experience
    Educational background in Instructional Design / Adult Learning Certificate

    Nice To Have:
    Skills developing eLearning using the Articulate 360 suite of products
    Financial industry experience within the regulatory and compliance space

    Someone who can demonstrate previous work experience in compliance or regulatory space.
    Able to produce effective, engaging learning.
