About the role


You will be a first point of contact for Health Director inquiries and will provide excellent customer service to FNHDA Members seeking information on FNHDA programs, information streams, training initiatives, and community health planning activities.


About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

Education
- _A diploma in business/office administration or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience._


Experience
- _Relevant, recent, and considerable experience in an administrative capacity, including provision of services to senior level staff processes (normally acquired over a period of 3-5 years)._
- _Experience working with BC First Nations communities, Health Directors, First Nation Wellness Practitioners and/or organizations._
- _Experience utilizing a variety of office tools including Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, Campaign Monitor, Smart Ballot, ZOOM._
- _Experience handling sensitive and confidential information and matters in a trusted and responsible manner._
- _Experience developing and maintaining administrative systems, processes, and procedures._


Knowledge
- _Knowledge of the health governance landscape in BC, including the multiple agreements with health system partners within the provincial and federal systems._
- _Excellent understanding of FNHDA as an Association for Health Leads/Directors, Association mission, purpose and programs associated with membership, as well as a thorough understanding of the respective roles of fellow staff, board, and committees of the organization._
- _Excellent knowledge of health-related issues facing BC First Nations._
- _Knowledge of information, records and data management approaches and options._
- _Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products._
