    Description

    Founded in 2010, the Waldorf Independent School of Edmonton (WISE) is a solidly established and growing school that fosters an environment where the whole child (head, hands and heart) is nourished.

    The school is supported by a vibrant and caring group of teachers and parents, serving children from kindergarten to grade 9.

    In-house mentoring is also provided.

    Bachelor of Education Degree
    Must have a current Alberta Teaching Certificate
    Creativity and independence in lesson planning skills
    Experience or interest in teaching music or art is an asset
    Waldorf knowledge and experience is preferred, however training is also available.
    The starting salary $60,000 + per year for full- time role, commensurate with experience and additional training.
    Attend faculty/committee meetings, school events, seasonal fairs, and in-service training as required
    Ensure that all Equivalent Learning Outcome documentation is up to date as required by Alberta Education
    Additional reference letters, AB Teaching Certification and practicum notes may be sent in with your application or can be forwarded with following further communications with the WISE HR team
