    Job Title: Cycle Count Coordinator

    Department: Warehouse

    Supervisor: Warehouse Supervisor

    Shift : 7:30-3:30

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Cycle Count Coordinator reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and is responsible to help achieve and maintain accuracy of inventory within the warehouse to the guidelines set forth by Polytainers, Inc.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:

    • Staging sleeves and returning sleeves
    • Returning and investigating discrepancies in IML Labels
    • Investigating and looking for missing skids, POUTs and MOUTs (product come out of printin/molding)
    • Perform Cycle Counting (2 aisles per day) and inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, if any
    • Coordinating all physical inventories and physically pulling out CUSOBS (customer obsolete) and scaping
    • Assisting with loading and offloading trucks as business demands with the forklift
    • Using the scissor lift for pulling down boxes, cycle counts, etc.
    • Assisting Inventory Analyst with missing products, corrugate, inventory inquiry from customer service
    • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
    • Resolve any variances between physical and actual counts per schedule
    • Research and provide cause analysis of inventory discrepancies
    • Other duties as assigned.

    SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    Educational Requirements: Grade 12 education or equivalent, post-secondary certificate in inventory is preferred

    Minimum Experience/Field: Experience in cycle counting preferredin a fast paced Production/Manufacturing environment

    Licenses/Permits Required: Must be a licensed Forklift operator(both Reach and Counterbalance)

    Computer Skills: Efficient in excel skills is preferred.

    Communication Skills: must have good command of the English language both verbal and written

    Additional Education/Experience/Skills: Movement in and around facility; ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs; bend, twist, kneel, squat, and other motions necessary for inventory management; near vision, color discrimination, depth perception, and tactile discrimination; ability to concentrate for extended period of time in disruptive environment; close visual acuity needed for the computer; ability to deal with confrontational situations in a positive and professional manner.
