- Identifying potential clients within the automotive industry through market research, networking, and targeted outreach to establish new business opportunities.
- Building strong, longlasting relationships with clients, understanding their financing needs, and providing personalized solutions to address their unique challenges.
- Collaborating with clients to understand their challenges and goals and offer expert advice.
- Keeping abreast of the automotive manufacturing industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the commercial financing landscape to identify new market niches and opportunities.
- Preparing persuasive proposals and presentations that showcase financing products and advisory services, tailored to each client's requirements.
- Partnering with internal teams, including underwriters and credit analysts, to ensure seamless execution of financing solutions for our clients.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Specialization in automotive industry and understanding the complexities of the financing requirements are required.
- Proven experience in business development, preferably within the commercial financing or financial services sector.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills and avid connector able to create longlasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders and solid understanding of the GTA West & North regions
- Being confident in your knowledge of commercial lending products, financing options, and credit analysis in the automotive industry
- Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage and persuade potential clients effectively.
- Someone who is curious and enjoys staying on top of the automotive industry trends.
- Resultsoriented mindset with the ability to work independently and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license.
