    Software Development Manager - Financial Systems
    Toronto / Remote - Canada
    We are currently seeking a Software Development Manager to join our Accounting Team. Accounting is instrumental to a law firm in understanding and maintaining their finances. Legal accounting has it's own very unique challenges.

    You will lead a team developing features in this space that will help lawyers, bookkeepers, and accountants with their accounting and trust management needs.

    The successful candidate will be build a team that will own an area within that broader accounting space, as we journey towards implementing a best-in-class experience for our customers.

    This role can be performed from one of our Canadian offices, remotely across Canada, or a combination of both.

    Working with your team on preparing an architecture document for an upcoming project;
    Working with the developers on your team to break down a project into deliverable chunks of work;
    Giving great feedback on code reviews, architecture documents, and more to help support team members making great technical decisions for their projects;
    Working with other developers to build and maintain scalable and reliable software system
    10+ years of experience in software development.
    ~ Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment
    ~ Troubleshoot and debug software applications
    ~ Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in software development

    We have developed a series of programs and processes to ensure we are creating fair and competitive pay practices that form the foundation of our human and high-performing culture.

    The expected salary range* for similar roles within Clio is: $163,000 - $244,500 CAD
    Competitive, equitable salary with top-tier health benefits, dental, and vision insurance
    Hybrid work environment, with expectation for local Clions (Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Dublin) to be in office min. Flexible time off policy, with an encouraged 20 days off per year.

    The top portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio.
