    We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join Element Fleet Management. As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world, we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

    Are you:

    • Knowledgeable of IFRS & consolidation experience (complex and multi-currency)?
    • Able to work independently, and proactively?

    The Senior Financial Analysis will validate the integrity of quarterly reports from global business teams and consolidate the reports in preparation of the quarterly and year-end financial statements and should have strong communication skills to manage request from stakeholders including senior management, external/internal auditors and other finance/accounting teams.

    A Day in the Life

    • Assist with the preparation of quarterly and year-end financial statements, including note preparation and reconciliations of other externally reported financial information
    • Assist with the quarterly reviews and year-end audit performed by the external audit team
    • Assist with technical research and development of company-wide accounting policies
    • Assist with month-end close activities
    • Assist with the accumulation and preparation of the quarterly and year-end financial statements and management discussion and analysis as well as the year-end audits
    • Participate in and support in ad-hoc projects as needed
    • Interact with the other members of the Accounting Department both in Toronto and other Element locations including the US, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand

    Requirements

    • Completion of a degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce or related field
    • Minimum three (3) years' progressive experience as a financial analyst
    • Public accounting experience preferred
    • CPA preferred or actively working to obtain CPA
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with all levels of the organization
    • ERP system (SAP S4/HANA), consolidation system (OneStream) and financial reporting software (Workiva) experience
    • Analyze and interpret various data source from global business team
    • Organized, ability to prioritize tasks and detail-oriented
    • MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc
