    Job Description:
    We are looking for a Cost Accountant for Retail Business to join our team in Ottawa.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on the cost of goods sold, inventory, and other related costs.

    The Cost Accountant will also be responsible for developing and maintaining cost accounting systems, preparing cost reports, and providing financial analysis and support to the organization.


    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • At least 3 years of experience in cost accounting
    • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
