    Description

    Responsibilities

    :
  • Develop comprehensive user guides, helpdesk articles, playbooks, and release notes for our software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other subject matter experts, to gather information and insights for documentation.
  • Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect the latest product features, enhancements, and changes.
  • Implement version control and documentation best practices to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Craft content with a focus on user experience, ensuring that technical information is presented in an accessible and understandable manner.
  • Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and continuously improve the clarity and effectiveness of documentation
  • Work closely with the marketing team to create collateral that effectively communicates the value proposition of our software products to different audiences.
  • Collaborate with customer support to address common user queries and incorporate feedback into documentation.
  • Establish peer review with the product experience team to ensure documentation is relevant and relatable to target audiences
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions with internal teams to ensure a deep understanding of product features, updates, and technical specifications.

    • Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer in the SaaS industry, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Strong understanding of software development concepts and the ability to translate technical information into user-friendly documentation.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools such as Confluence, Markdown, and version control systems.
  • Proficiency in maintaining helpdesk or knowledge base libraries such as Zendesk, Intercom, Wordpress or other.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with graphics and multimedia tools for creating visual aids.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
  • Certification in technical writing or related field.
