    Basic Purpose of Position:

    As a Maintenance Contract Administrator, you'll provide administrative support for multiple vendor contracts and assist with contractual negotiations, implementation, review, and renewals. Prepare AFC (Authorization for Commitment) for various contracts and leases as they renew or come due. Assist with the sourcing of transportation items such as Engines, APU, or Landing Gear when necessary. Prepare reports and submit claims based on findings for multiple internal/external vendors.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Contract Management: review, cost adjustments and approve vendor cost estimates against vendor contract/agreements.
  • Verify yearly escalation from vendors against contractual agreements.
  • Liaison regularly with repair and purchasing groups.
  • Perform cost analysis and compare vendor quotes for future projects.
  • Prepare Authorization for Commitment (AFC) to cover anticipated spend based on contractual award.
  • Monthly Flight Hour Analysis and Purchase Order (PO) Creation.
  • Extract data from flight hours and cycles for applicable vendor contracts to create Ratio projections for future year-to-year pricing escalation (where applicable).
  • Work closely with the Repair and Purchasing departments to address issues such as Turnaround time or vendor pricing disputes to help find a solution to correct.
  • Use tools such as ILSMart to research and source required materials and repair options to support the Repair and Purchasing Groups.
  • Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office products, specifically Excel.
  • Knowledge of aircraft parts and repair process.
  • Knowledge of Maintenance environment and airline operational experience will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Review, resolve and negotiate cost estimates and invoices.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and project management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, achieve objectives and work under pressure.
