    IT Business Solutions – Life & Health delivers business value through the management of technology solutions for Munich Re's Life and Health (L&H) businesses globally.

    The Project Manager, Business Solutions L&H, will play a key role in the management, operations and support of Life and Health projects.

    The role will report to the Regional Head of IT Solution Delivery (Americas), Business Solutions L&H and be a key technology partner to stakeholders.

    As an active member of a global delivery team this role is responsible for ensuring projects are successfully managed and consistently delivering high quality results based on industry & Munich Re standard solutions, to cover the financial and reinsurance operations capabilities of the L&H business.

    Responsible for the lifecycle of Life & Health projects.
    Lead project planning sessions; manage project progress and adapt work as required
    Ensure projects meet deadlines and budget
    Manage relationships with stakeholders
    Own project documentation and ensure sponsor approval
    Optimize the improve the project delivery process where necessary
    Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Engineering or similar qualification.

    Proven experience in leading and inspiring teams and an ability to coordinate the efforts of others in the delivery of IT initiatives.

    Necessary gravitas to deal with senior business owners with SME and expert presence.

    In depth knowledge of IT SDLC as well as proficient understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management and agile development.

    Proven experience owning business and partner/vendor relationships.
    Experience in a global, complex organization is an asset.
    Cost and budget management skills.
    Advanced knowledge of development, test management and project management tools
    Excellent command of written and spoken business English
