- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Working towards Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is preferred
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role in a medium-sized organization (500+ people)
- Strong knowledge of BC employment and labour laws
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and various HRIS and ATS software
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Manage the creation,review, and maintenance of employment agreements and documentation.
- Implement and maintain HRbest practices throughout the group.
- Handle employee relationsmatters professionally and confidentially.
- Assist in the onboardingprocess, including facilitating orientation sessions.
- Assist leaders with employee disciplinary issues and/or layoffsand terminations ensuring completion of documents for employee file.
- Handle day to day HR inquiries.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensurecompliance.
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical position overseeing various aspects of human resources functions. The role involves overseeing Occupational health and safety (OH&S) protocols, managing employment agreements and documentation, implementing HR best practices, and more. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR principles, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Schedule: Full-Time
Salary: $56,000 - $73,000 per year
