Customer Service Representative

Location: Prince George, BC

Diversified Transportation is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for our Northern Health Connections operation in Prince George. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a key position that requires confidentiality, maturity, diplomacy and the ability to work with all levels of staff and the public. This is a casual position covering holidays and sick days, with the possibility of more hours as per business needs. The successful candidate must have flexible availability as shifts fall between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Reliable transportation is required as there is no public transit servicing the business location.

Knowledge and Skills Required

Open availability required
Exemplary customer service skills with previous experience in a customer facing / customer service position
Previous experience in an administrative role
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
Ability to remain composed, tactful, and professional in all communications
Team-oriented with the ability to work with little supervision
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
Confident, pleasant and welcoming disposition

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Book travel and process ticket sales
Answer phones / respond to client or passenger inquiries
Assist drivers with inquiries or concerns
Creation of memos and other written documents
Filing of invoices
Arrange hotel room bookings for drivers
Restock and order supplies
Data entry for fuel and other information
Various other administrative duties as required
