    We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Power Division.

    Under the general supervision of a Team Leader or Manager, perform challenging and varied engineering assignments requiring general familiarity with a broad field of engineering.

    Participate in work planning required to achieve prescribed objectives. Perform Conceptual and/or detail engineering of Industrial Electrical systems including power systems, control systems and instrumentation.

    Provide input to drafters for preparation of various engineering drawings, such as: General Arrangements, Instrument Loops, Wiring and Connection diagrams, Bill of Materials (BOM), etc.

    Assist Leaders and Manager with definition and monitoring of work scopes, deliverables, schedules and budget.
    Participate in walk-downs at the client's facilities.
    Assist in providing responses to technical enquiries from clients, technical reviewers, and regulatory agencies.
    Prepare purchase requisition, review technical content of supplier bids and technical submissions.

    Ensure accuracy, completeness and quality of technical information and design documentation in accordance with the Company QA programs and manuals.

    Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/ Electromechanical Engineering and PEO membership

    10 or more years of engineering experience in design, installation, maintenance, and operation of industrial electrical systems: conventional and state-of-the-art.

    Proven experience (10 years) working as an Electrical Engineer in the industrial or mining sector.

    The selected candidate will be proficient in creating specifications for MV and LV switchgears, switchboards, generators, motor starters and medium/low voltage equipment.

    Experience with troubleshooting electrical systems and implementing effective solutions.
    Experience with site construction support.
    Excellent understanding of safety standards and regulatory requirements related to electrical systems in industrial or mining environments.
    Well developed communication, planning, and work organization skills.
    Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable and work under tight schedules in a fast pace environment.
