    THE OPPORTUNITY – Customer Service, Bottle Depot (Canada Summer Job)

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Face-to-face marketing of Bottle Pick-Up Service in targeted residential neighborhoods.
    • Provide accurate information regarding Bottle Pick-Up Service and other areas of service.
    • Maintain health and safety by wearing appropriate attire for weather conditions (sun/rain protection, footwear)
    • Audit new accounts to ensure the accuracy of contact information and follow – up on new accounts via phone calls as required
    • Complete Health & Safety training and follow safe pairing instructions so team members are aware of their partners' location
    • Meet assigned performance targets and perform other administrative duties as required.

    WHAT YOU BRING

    We are looking to engage team members with diverse skills, experiences, and interests. These are some of the competencies and credentials we are looking for:

    • Possess outstanding organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Currently studying in a post-secondary program or related degree
    • Must be able to walk and climb stairs during shift
    • Suitable for youth from years of age at the start of employment
    • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
    • Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation.
    • Demonstrate a high standard of professionalism aligned with Vecova values
    • Maintain a positive working relationship with all Vecova team members
    • Represent Vecova in a professional manner
    • Demonstrate a high level of initiative and enthusiasm
    • Maintain confidentiality at all times
    • Demonstrate a high level of administrative and IT capacity.
