    Our Waterloo team is excited to be adding a Commercial Lines Account Manager.

    Reporting to the Director of Commercial Lines, the Commercial Lines Account Manager fosters relationships with a book of business by supporting customers by advising and supporting their unique needs.


    What you'll do:

    • Support a book of customers through service and advice on commercial lines insurance products tailored to their unique needs
    • Support Insurance companies by responding to their inquires
    • Provide exceptional customer-service to both in-person and phone customers
    • Review policies and ensure they were written accurately
    • Work within regulatory and internal guidelines in respect to Insurance sales
    • Provide full-cycle Insurance support including, writing new business, remarkets, customer support, quotes, payment processing, and cancellations
    • Be active in the Insurance community, and be aware of any changes or trends
    • Work in a team environment, providing support to other team members
    • Represent Ives Insurance at brokerage, community and insurance company functions

    Who you are:

    • You have a valid RIBO license
    • CAIB or equivalent designation required or intention to pursue
    • You have strong communication skills
    • A problem solver, who loves a good challenge
    • An organizing master, who is great with time management
    • Passionate about supporting clients
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with high level of accuracy
    • Professional demeanor and appearance
    • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
    • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and BMS
