    • Measure and mark sheet metal according to template
    • Prepare tenders and quotations
    • Operate laser cutters
    • Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces
    • Schedule work
    • Calculate heating and cooling loads, design duct systems and select equipment for residential and small commercial construction
    • Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification
    • Operate plasma cutters
    • Assemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipment
    • Estimate costs and materials
    • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
    • Fit and join sheet metal parts
    • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
