    TECHNICAL DESIGN AND SWIMSUIT FITTING TECHNICIAN
    SIEGE SOCIAL, 3055 VIAU, MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada Req #21242

    For full-time employees:

    Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Technical Design and Quality Assurance, the incumbent must have a good knowledge of complex garments such as, swimwear and/or bra and/or lingerie.

    The incumbent will be responsible for producing technical drawings and specifications for the development of styles, evaluating samples, writing, and sending reports for improvements to be made by the factories up to the production stage.

    Prepare the work files for the suppliers with a PLM, create with Ilustrator the black and white, interior and exterior, front and back technical drawings with the seams, finishing technique and necessary construction;
    Measure and evaluate the quality of the styles under his/her responsibility;
    Communicate with suppliers the reports of corrections, fittings and quality;
    Communicate internally with changes or quality issues during development;
    Participate in meetings to present the collections to start the styles under his/her responsibility;
    Provide technical support for other team members as needed;
    Work closely with the purchasing and design teams and ensure that the direction of styles corresponds to the products purchased;
    Maintain up-to-date documents regarding the quality standards established by the company.
    College diploma in fashion design or equivalent experience;
    ~Essential bilingualism in writing (Both English and French) and basic functional English to speak it (The person will have to interact with suppliers from outside Canada);
    ~ Knowledge of Illustrator, PLM and Microsoft software;
