    Description

    About the Job:

    This job requires a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. You should have at least 5 years of experience in this field. The work setting is in an Urban area.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct voltage, resistance and other tests using electrical test equipment.
    • Prepare written estimates of repair costs.
    • Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts.
    • Diagnose faults, using testing devices.
    • Repair electrical appliances and components.
    • Replace faulty components.

    Requirements:

    • Basic security clearance and a Criminal record check.
    • Must have own transportation and vehicle.
    • Ability to distinguish between colours and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Own tools/equipment are necessary.
    • Personal suitability: Client focus, Dependability, Initiative, Organized, Team player.
