    Description sommaire des tâches

    L'Ingénieur / Scientifique en R&D participe activement au développement de nouveaux procédés, depuis la preuve de concept jusqu'au pilotage, et/ou dans le domaine de l'amélioration des technologies existantes de PyroGenesis ayant trait à l'ingénierie de conception et aux essais. Le candidat retenu pouvoir apporter activement et continuellement de nouvelles idées et solutions afin d'atteindre les objectifs fixés. Le candidat idéal doit être capable de travailler efficacement dans une entreprise technologique à croissance rapide.

    Rôle et responsabilités


    •Effectuer des analyses documentaires.

    •Proposer de nouveaux concepts de procédés et d'opérations unitaires.

    •Participer à l'assemblage de divers dispositifs expérimentaux à l'échelle du laboratoire et à l'échelle pilote. Préparer les installations pour la réalisation d'expériences.

    •Planifier et exécuter des expériences, recueillir des données sur les procédés et procéder à l'analyse des données. Préparer des plans d'essai et des rapports d'essai.

    •Communiquer avec les clients.

    •Diriger les essais à l'échelle du laboratoire et de l'usine pilote avec les techniciens, en veillant à la bonne tenue des dossiers et à l'établissement de rapports sur les essais.

    •Développer de nouveaux modèles MFN pour les parties prenantes internes et externes.

    •Dépanner, proposer et mettre en œuvre des modifications qui amélioreront les performances et la fiabilité des systèmes,

    •Contribuer à la préparation de propositions de subventions de R&D et de propositions techniques pour soutenir les projets de développement.

    •Exécuter d'autres tâches conformément aux exigences du superviseur immédiat et pour lesquelles la personne est qualifiée

    Exigences du poste

    ÉDUCATION ET QUALIFICATIONS

    •Au minimum, une Licence (M.Sc. ou PhD de préférence) en génie chimique

    •Diplôme d'études supérieures et/ou expérience dans le domaine du plasma thermique de préférence.

    •Expérience dans des projets de R&D, de préférence dans des projets de R&D industriels

    •Expérience des logiciels de simulation pour la modélisation MFN et thermochimique (tels que ANSYS/Fluent, Star-CCM+, HSC, Factsage).

    •Capacité à travailler avec un minimum de supervision tout en atteignant les objectifs fixés

    •Être passionné par la recherche et le développement en faisant preuve d'initiative, en recherchant activement des solutions et en faisant preuve de créativité et de capacité à résoudre les problèmes

    •Avoir l'esprit d'équipe tout en étant capable de travailler de manière indépendante

    •Maîtriser les logiciels de bureautique Microsoft tels que Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio (MS project est un atout)

    •Être Membre de l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) est un atout

    •Bilingue français et anglais (écrit et parlé)

    EXPÉRIENCE

    •Au minimum deux ans d'expérience professionnelle en R&D industrielle (Maîtrise : minimum d'un an d'expérience)

    •Expérience dans le développement de nouveaux procédés à haute température (une expérience avec le plasma thermique est un atout)

    •Expérience dans le développement de modèles MFN pour les procédés à haute température, y compris le développement de champs thermo-fluides, le rayonnement, les modèles cinétiques et les fonctions définies par l'utilisateur en utilisant des langages de codage appropriés tels que C++

    •Expérience dans l'exploitation de laboratoires et d'installations pilotes, de préférence pour des applications à haute température.

    •Expérience dans l'élaboration de plans d'essai, de plans d'expérience et d'analyse de données

    •Expérience dans l'analyse de problèmes complexes de transferts de chaleur et de masse et de thermochimie

    •Une expérience de la caractérisation des matériaux est un atout.

    •Une expérience dans le développement de la cinétique de réaction et du dimensionnement des réacteurs est un atout

    •Une expérience préalable de la production de gaz de synthèse par des procédés à haute température est un atout
