    About Us Fort Group Chartered Professional Accountants is a dynamic mid-sized accounting firm located at 865 Henderson Highway. We seek to welcome a dedicated and skilled Tax Senior Manager to our growing team.

    Position Summary Our new Senior Manager will lead in a team environment, handling compilation, tax, and other engagement files.

    Utilizing strong leadership skills, the Senior Manager will maintain client relationships, lead staff, and assist in initiatives for the firm's growth.

    Effectively collaborate with internal teams, managing work levels and job statuses.
    Thoroughly understand clients' businesses, industry trends, and technical developments.

    Lead, mentor, and coach staff of all levels, managing a range of engagement sizes, and acting as a coach for the firm's coaching program.

    Technical

    ~ Manage technical aspects, client expectations, and staff involvement on a wide variety of engagements.

    Assist with special tax projects.
    Demonstrate expertise in personal and corporate tax knowledge.
    Ensure compliance with professional standards and office policies.
    A minimum of eight years of public accounting experience or other relevant experience.
    CPA and In-Depth Tax Course – CPA Canada.
    Resilient, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong leadership qualities.

    High level of detail and accuracy, ability to work in a deadline-heavy environment, advanced math skills, proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
