    We're looking for our next Business Development Specialist. Could it Be You?

    The Business Development Specialist role is one of the most important customer facing positions across the organization. As a primary point of contact during the initial customer journey, the objective of a Business Development Specialist is to nurture leads and to work with other lines of businesses.

    What's it like working as an Business Development Specialist at Questrade?

    In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Helping Canadians become much more financially successful and secure
    • Interacting with customers through various communication channels, including phone, live chat and SMS, email and occasionally face-to-face / virtual meetings
    • High volume calling experience - making around 60+ calls per day
    • Making outbound calls to help nurture leads through the onboarding journey
    • Continuously providing a high level customer experience by demonstrating our We Care values during each customer interaction
    • Educating customers on Questrade's trading platforms, and our products and services
    • Educating customers on the different lines of businesses we offer
    • Receiving weekly / monthly coaching, mentoring, and training from Sales Team members
    • Participating and engaging in strategic sales initiatives, both for the department and for your respective team

    • Have 1+ years of Business Development experience in a sales environment with a strong focus on putting the customer first
    • Are customer centric during every interaction
    • Want to work with the best and challenge yourself to perform at your best everyday
    • Are results-oriented and take ownership and pride in overachieving against your personal targets and contribute to the department exceeding its targets
    • Are agile and able to manage multiple client communication channels, including inbound and outbound responsibilities
    • Are passionate, ambitious and care for what you do with the long term goal of continuing to learn and grow your career within the sales team or across the enterprise
    • Have strong communication skills and a quick learner

    • Have contact center experience, ideally in financial services
