- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
- Consult with our customers on their feed needs
- Work well in a team environment with other Trouw Nutrition functions, such as Customer Service, Formulation, Nutrition and Pricing to meet customer needs.
- Work in close collaboration with Customer Service, Logistics and the customer to achieve on-farm expectations and ensure Right Feed, Right Place, Right Time.
- Practical beef experience working on a family or commercial beef farm or experience in agriculture, customer service and sales considered a strong asset
- Post-secondary education in agriculture. Will consider experience and education combination
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, organizational skills. Having superior customer focus and ability to follow-up, while aligning with internal processes and procedures.
- High level of integrity, respect, and work ethic.
- Self-motivated and takes initiative. Ability to work independently and on a team.
- A valid drivers' license is required for this role.
- Ability to travel to customers and attend sales events.
