- Discussing research studies and consenting patients for clinical trials
- Conducting clinical trial study visits, collecting blood, providing detailed notes of all interactions with participants
- Collecting vital signs, preparing intravenous lines for infusions, collecting adverse reactions to infusions
- Returning patient calls
- Preparing IVIG orders for clinic patients
- Performing other duties consistent with job classification, as requested.
- At minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and the license to practice in Ontario is required
- 3 years clinical and/or professional experience is required, 1 year clinical research experience is preferred
- Experience with preparing intravenous lines and administering subcutaneous injections
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment and Excel
- Detail oriented with excellent organization skills
- Ability to work as part of an inter-professional team
- Comfortable with learning new systems quickly and efficiently

Hours: 35 Hours per week
Wage range: $ - $ hourly
Shifts: Weekdays 8 am to 4 pm

Position Summary
Working under supervision of the Research Manager, the Research Nurse exercises judgment and decision-making in utilizing established policies and procedures to complete well defined tasks.
