    The Corporate Services Branch at the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement requires an energetic and highly motivated individual to join a team that is responsible for providing accounting expertise and financial consulting in support of the programs and strategic direction of the ministry.

    Reporting to the Manager, Contract Administration, this full time Contract Administrator position provides division-wide services related to leadership in the accounting for capital and major projects.

    The incumbent will work with project managers to ensure that the Financial Administration Manual (FAM), relevant legislation and internal policies are followed.

    The incumbent will also have other duties assigned by the Manager, Contract Administration.

    As the successful candidate you will bring knowledge of accounting principles and procedures including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

    You will have the demonstrated ability to compare, recognize and correct discrepancies within multiple sets of data in order to balance financial data; accurately perform mathematical calculations to balance financial information; and input, edit, update, retrieve, maintain and format data using computer software applications including spreadsheet, databases and integrated financial systems.

    Typically, our candidate of choice will have or be working towards a certificate in accounting, as well as related experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, data entry, and administration of contracts.
