    Description

    Adecco is currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Advisor for a prestigious Canadian specialty aerospace and defense company located in Abbotsford, BC.

    This is a full-time, permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to ensure our client's adherence to the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental protocols, in alignment with company policies, the Canada Labour Code, prescribed Canadian Occupational Safety & Health Regulations (COSH), and environmental legislation.

    Job Details:

    • Pay Rate: $79,500 / year
    • Location: Abbotsford, BC
    • Job type: Full-time | Permanent

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Strive to consistently act in a manner in which reflects the company's culture and values
    • Monitor compliance with health, safety & environment policies and procedures
    • Support, advise, and act as a resource for all employees regarding safe work practices
    • Conduct internal safety audits and recommend corrective actions
    • Act as safety trainer for specified programs
    • Assist with hazardous materials management program and more

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalency
    • First Aid - Level 2 certification preferred
    • 3+ years' experience in manufacturing and/or aviation
    • Proficiency in Accident/Incident Investigations and more
