    Description

    Long Term Occasional Teaching Opportunity teaching Kindergarten to Grade 8 at St Mary's Family of Schools starting as soon as possible until approximately June 21, 2024.

    This LTO assignment will support daily unfilled teaching assignments within the St Mary's Family of Schools for any same day absences.

    The LTO Teacher will report to John Sweeney each morning, unless directed to start their day at another school.

    The LTO Teacher may also be relocated to a different school throughout the day.

    Provision of reliable transportation will be required as travel will be required within the St Mary's Family of Schools.

    As bell times vary amongst the schools between the hours of 8:20 am – 3:50 pm, availability to work within these bell times is required.

    External Certified teachers, who are successful in obtaining a Long Term Occasional teaching assignment with WCDSB, will be placed on the WCDSB's Daily Occasional Teacher List after the Long Term Occasional assignment has ended.

    Primary, Junior, or Intermediate qualifications are required.

    The Waterloo Catholic District School Board serves over 30,000 learners and provides services to students in 50 schools (Kindergarten to Grade 12 and adult learners) across the Waterloo Region.

    Copy of Roman Catholic baptismal certificate or confirmation letter from the Parish that you are enrolled/completed the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program
    Two (2) professional academic references
    Most recent teacher performance appraisal summative reports OR practice teaching reports (if applicable)
