    Description

    Editr Apps Inc. is looking for someone to take on the software engineering side of our business. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team responsible for our Top Ranking Applications and participate in the creation of world class mobile applications whose usage cross over 5 millions iPhone & iPad app users.

    We are a revenue generating company and growing at 15%-20% rate, however we are looking for someone who is more interested in equity with minimal compensation until we grow enough or raise seed round to provide full-time compensation.

    Our goal is to find a suitable person to build and lead a team, who can potentially fulfill the CTO role, once we start raising fund.

    As a Senior iOS Software Engineer, you will provide technical leadership, develop short-term and long-term solutions based on schedule constraints, collaborate in a team environment, and communicate technical concepts across a broad multi-disciplinary organization.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Own architecture and maintenance of major functional areas in the iOS app.
  • Implement new features and other improvements within the app.
  • Work closely with Design and Product Management to build the best possible UX for the platform.
  • Perform code reviews, write unit tests, and take a leading role in architectural planning and refactoring.

    Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional application development experience on iOS.
  • Track record of shipping successful mobiles apps on app store.
  • Mastery of Objective-C, iOS Frameworks, memory management, performance optimization and design patterns.
  • Strong applied software methodology, process and quality skills.
  • Exposure to complex Camera / Video technologies is a plus.
  • Experience submitting native applications to internal and/or external app store.
  • Focus on teamwork, comfortable with fast-paced, collaborative, iterative development with cross-functional teams
  • Able to work effectively under pressure, independently, and within a collaborative, multi-location team environment using sound judgment in decision making.
