    A family-type feel in a fast-paced investment firm environment. 90% of the employees are Chinese, Mandarin speaking. They work hard when necessary (month-end, audit period, budget period, etc.) however not expected to work overtime very often
    This is also a chance to broaden your skill set with exposure to both Canadian and US accounting & tax across various types of entities
    Assist in Canadian and US corporate and partnership tax filings
    Generate and update tax project tracking reports
    Organize and document tax related files and preparation of supporting documents
    Prepare and maintain government remittances/filings, such as GST, EHT and payroll
    Assisting in tax research and revise memos and reports
    Provide support to the senior members of tax and other departments as needed
    Maintain online tax portals and liaise with Canadian and US tax authorities on tax administrative matters
    3-4 years of large or medium public accounting firm experience, inclusive of minimum 2 years progressive tax experience. Or equivalent tax experience in the financial industry.
    ~ Proficient use of Excel, Microsoft Office Word, Power Point
    ~ US tax knowledge and experience a strong asset
    ~ FATCA & CRS analyst experience a strong asset
    ~ Other business tax experiences an asset
    ~ Mandarin-speaking an asset but not mandatory.
