    AECOM Buildings + PlacesArchitectural team is seeking a Design Manager to join our team. This position will be based out of our Ottawa, ON office, with opportunities for hybrid work.

    AECOM Buildings + Places Canada (B+P Canada) is a vibrant and growing fully integrated team spanning architecture, all the building's engineering disciplines, landscape architecture, urban planning, urban design, economics and asset management for design and infrastructure projects.


    Project assignments may include, although not limited to:
    Transit and Municipal, Commercial, and Institutional projects, Justice, Education and Government.
    Manages one or more moderately complex project, involving a combination of the following:

    Projects involving multiple services provided by regional IE offices; Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.

    May manage all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
    Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.

    May supervise:

    senior level engineers (all disciplines applicable), as well as project administration, project controls, scheduling, cost control, estimating and procurement representatives.

    University Degree in Architecture, Engineering or other relevant field of study + four (4) years of design management experience on major infrastructure projects.

    Senior-level design management experience on major infrastructure projects as a Design Manager preferred.
    Relocation is not available for this position.
