    Senior Marketing Manager

    Who we are:

    M.C.P. McCaughey Consumer Products Inc. (MCP) is a leading full-service national distributor providing sales, marketing & brand strategy development in the Canadian marketplace for over 25 years.

    Who we are looking for:

    Due to our continued growth, we are in search of an experienced Senior Marketing Manager capable of assuming a multifaceted role akin to a General Manager for the brand. Ideal candidates will exhibit entrepreneurial flair and exceptional problem-solving skills essential for success in this position.

    What you will be responsible for:

    Brand Management: Work with suppliers to bring new product launches to the Canadian Market.

    Budgets: Develop & achieve annual budget/sales targets

    Marketing Plans: Develop a comprehensive brand plan with objectives, strategies and tactics to drive growth and achieve targets

    Presentations: Prepare & present monthly business review for senior management & sales team.

    Forecasting & Demand Planning: Work with the operations team on forecasting and demand planning in support of core business, innovation, and promotional plans.

    Data Analysis: Point of Sale (POS), shipment, pricing & GAP analysis. Leverage industry data to identify opportunities, risks, and strategies for growth.

    Promotional Planning: Work with sales team on retailer promotional planning to optimize trade spend effectiveness.

    Relationship Management: Key point person with US suppliers, clients & internal team

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 8 years of Marketing/Brand Management experience (CPG mandatory). Please ONLY apply if you have consumer packaged goods experience
    • Post-secondary marketing or business degree.
    • Proven track record of managing a diverse portfolio of brands and developing successful strategies for continued growth.
    • Previous experience with OTC brands and DIN and/or NHP skus.
    • Experience with artwork compliance for DINs or NHPs in Canada is an asset.
    • Strong analytical skills - expertise working with Nielsen data
    • Strategic Storyteller: In conversation, in presentation, with data, via PowerPoint & Excel
    • Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
    • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence decisions at all levels of an organization.
    • Attention to detail, excellent project management & organizational skills
    • Able to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment and manage a diverse portfolio of products and tasks.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point.
    • Experience managing, training and developing people, prior experience with support staff and direct reports an asset
