    Description

    Our client, a large energy producer in Canada, is looking to add a Senior Tax Analyst to their team for an initial 1 year contract.

    Prepare consolidated monthly and quarterly tax provisions
    Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax disclosures for financial statements and internal reporting
    Complete Canadian corporate income tax returns and elections, including conducting related research, analysis, and file preparation
    Ensure compliance with SOX controls
    Conduct analysis to support historical and forecast tax provisions
    Collaborate with the company's businesses to identify and analyze income tax issues
    Minimum 5+ years of corporate income tax work experience
    Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
    Completion of CPA In-Depth Tax Courses level I and II, with level III preferred
