    Description
    Looking for a role that will have a meaningful impact on the environment while underwriting specialty pollution insurance coverage?
    This position is responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of a profitable portfolio of desirable business through marketing, analysis, sales, service and underwriting in our Environmental Liability line of business

    We are looking for an individual to underwrite in our environmental liability line of business.

    Underwriting and servicing a growing book of business, including risk selection, coverage negotiation and pricing adequacy on new and renewable business, all in accordance with designated underwriting authorities and company guidelines.

    # Reviewing and processing changes on existing accounts to maintain compliance with policy conditions and company underwriting philosophy.
    # Maintaining market intelligence, business insurance trends and industry knowledge.

    2-5 years' environmental impairment liability underwriting experience
    ~ Environmental or science-related educational experience
    ~ Expertise and depth in policy wordings, forms and applicable coverages
    ~ Strong administrative skills and highly detail oriented
    ~ Ability to deliver results even when working to meet tight deadlines
