    Aviva has an excellent opportunity in Aviva Business Currently, we are seeking a Senior Underwriter Commercial Auto to join the Ontario National Branch

    What You'll Do:

  • Assess and evaluate risks for new and existing business (Fleet, Garage), with a focus on National Fleets
  • Analyze reports to resolve adequate exposure and loss ratings.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, pricing levels and policy form amendments.
  • Manage and negotiate renewal terms for the retention of business.
  • Work with brokers to develop new business opportunities
  • Apply loss control and risk management practices in the underwriting process.
  • Respond to inquiries from brokers regarding modification to policy files in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Build and maintain excellent broker relationships and management of assigned broker portfolios.
  • Provide excellent Customer service.

    • What You'll Bring:

  • 7+ years of commercial Auto underwriting (Fleet, Garage) experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and administration skills
  • Highly motivated and hard-working
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proven marketing & relationship building skills
  • Good digital literacy
  • CIP/FCIP is a strong asset
  • Knowledge of the RTM system is an asset
