Who you are... You are an inventive, collaborative, and proactive engineer with a passion for building systems, smart energy solutions and environmental sustainability. What you will do... As a Project Engineer EIT, you will work on a large institutional project in which you will be responsible for executing the construction plan on the job site including all construction activities and changes to the plan as required, to meet the project's schedule and cost goals. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards in health and safety on-site, while ensuring quality, client interface, and construction operations.     Your responsibilities...

  • Ensure everyone stays safe while on the job – this includes anyone setting foot on site.
  • Manage daily construction activities on site, working closely with subcontractors and client stakeholders. Don't hesitate to involve your fantastic colleagues whenever needed
  • Find and implement creative ideas to make the construction site more efficient. In our team, the best ideas always win, no matter your title
  • Communicate efficiently with all stakeholders to get all the required information you need to implement the project.
  • Understand and actively contribute to optimizing mechanical designs for seamless implementation, spanning from initial design to commissioning
  • When challenges arise, think outside the box, reach out to colleagues, and adopt the 'No excuses, just results' attitude.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, or other similar engineering field.
  • Relevant internship or site experience that will help you drive multidisciplinary energy projects.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and negotiating skills in English.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.

  • Have at least a couple of work stories to tell us how you failed and what you learned from those experiences.
  • Demonstrate an incredible sense of planning in complex environments. Doing a plan B should not be a plan B for you.
  • An insatiable curiosity that leaves you itching to uncover the inner workings of everything. If you've ever disassembled something out of sheer curiosity, it's a good sign.
