About:


Our client, a start-up in the fintech sector, is looking for their next Chief Operating Officer to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the business, including the development and implementation of operational strategies and processes.

The COO will work closely with the CEO to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and growth across the organization.


Responsibilities:


  • Developing and implementing operational strategies and processes to support the growth and success of the business.
  • Leading and managing the daytoday operations of the business, including crossfunctional teams such as sales, marketing, finance, and product development.
  • Collaborating with the leadership team to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Developing and managing budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Analyzing and tracking key performance metrics to inform decisionmaking and drive continuous improvement.
  • Leading and developing a team of operational managers and staff, including hiring, training, and development.
  • Representing the company in external relationships with partners and stakeholders.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree in business or management preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in operational management, including leadership roles.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and resources.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in a fintech or financial services industry preferred.
  • Tech savvy.
